A score of 300 typically lands in an All India Rank band of roughly 4,20,000 to 5,50,000. At that rank the seats that convert are management-quota seats in private colleges through state counselling and seats at deemed universities through MCC, at course fees between ₹45 lakh and ₹1.2 crore. There is no low-cost route at this score.

The decision at 300
You are choosing between a paid MBBS seat costing roughly ₹1.2 crore all-in, a different health-sciences course at a fraction of that, and a repeat attempt.
300 is roughly 42% of the paper. That is not a marginal miss — it usually indicates substantial untouched syllabus rather than an unlucky day. For most candidates at this score a repeat attempt with genuinely different preparation produces a much larger gain than a repeat at 550 would, because the easy marks are still on the table. That makes repeating unusually good value here, if the student is willing.
If the money is genuinely available and the family is clear-eyed about it, a deemed seat is legitimate and legal. Work through the loan arithmetic first: MBBS admission with a low NEET score.

Can I get a government MBBS seat with 300 marks?
Realistically no, in any state or category in the unreserved pool. Reserved-category candidates should still check their own state’s category-wise closing ranks from the last round before concluding.
Should I repeat NEET with 300 marks?
Usually yes, if you are willing. 300 out of 720 generally means large parts of the syllabus were never covered, so the achievable gain from one focused year is far bigger than for a candidate already scoring 550.
