The one thing to check before you conclude anything
If you are in a reserved category, do not use unreserved figures to judge your chances. Category closing ranks in state counselling run very substantially looser, and every year candidates with reserved-category eligibility conclude they need a ₹1 crore private seat when a government seat was reachable in their own state.
Open your state authority’s round-wise allotment result for the last cycle, find your category, and read the final round, not round one. It takes twenty minutes.
If the answer really is a paid seat
