Santosh Medical College admits MBBS students only through the Medical Counselling Committee’s deemed/central universities counselling at mcc.nic.in. You register on the MCC portal, pay a non-refundable registration fee plus a refundable security deposit that is substantially higher for deemed-university choices than for All India Quota, fill and lock your choices, and if allotted, report to the Ghaziabad campus by 5 PM on or before the date printed on your DGHS allotment letter with all sixteen required documents. The college runs no counselling of its own and accepts no application outside this process.
Santosh Medical College counselling: the route, in order
1. Qualify NEET UG 2026. 50th percentile for UR, 40th for OBC-NCL/SC/ST, 45th for PwD-UR.
2. Register for deemed/central universities counselling on mcc.nic.in. This is the step people get wrong. MCC runs separate counselling streams, and registering for All India Quota does not register you for deemed universities. They are different registrations with different fees and different security deposits. If you want Santosh, you must be in the deemed stream.
3. Pay the fees. Two separate amounts:

The deemed-university security deposit exists to discourage candidates from blocking seats they have no intention of taking. It is a real cash requirement that lands before you know whether you will be allotted anything, and it is the most common reason a candidate who “was planning to try for a deemed seat” ends up not being in the process at all. Budget for it in July, not September.
4. Fill and lock choices. Santosh appears as its own choice code in the MCC seat matrix. Verify the code against the current year’s matrix — codes are not guaranteed stable year to year, and copying one from last year’s blog post is a way to lose a seat you had the rank for.
Order your choices honestly by preference, not by what you think you can get. MCC allots by rank against your preference order; putting a seat you do not actually want above one you do is how people end up locked into the wrong college.
5. Seat allotment. Results publish round by round. If allotted, download the DGHS allotment letter — you cannot report without it.
6. Report to the college. Venue: Administrative Block, 4th Floor, Santosh Deemed to be University, No. 1 Santosh Nagar, Gate No. 3, Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad (NCR-Delhi) 201009. Deadline: by 5 PM on or before the last date on the allotment letter. Reporting late is not appealable.

Item 15 is the one to prepare for. You will be asked to hand over signed post-dated cheques covering the full ₹1.08 crore course fee at the time of admission. Speak to your bank before you travel to Ghaziabad — an education loan sanction letter is not a cheque book, and arranging one on the day is not possible.
“Counselling fees” — what you actually pay, and to whom
Searches for “Santosh medical college NEET counselling fees” usually mean one of three different things, so to separate them:
- MCC counselling fees — registration plus refundable security deposit, paid to MCC on the portal, not to the college.
- College fees — the ₹24,00,000 annual tuition and hostel, paid to Santosh after allotment. See the fee breakdown.
- Consultant fees — what a private adviser charges you for help with the process. This is optional, it buys guidance only, and it can never buy a seat.

Timeline
MCC publishes the counselling schedule after the NEET UG result. Historically the deemed/central stream runs from roughly August to October across four rounds (round 1, round 2, round 3, stray vacancy), but the dates shift every year and any specific date you read in advance is speculation. Watch mcc.nic.in directly rather than an aggregator.
Plan for the whole window. The cutoff data shows the closing rank loosening by over 1.3 lakh ranks between round 1 and the stray round — for many candidates the seat exists only at the end of the process.
